Ventilated Seat Cover from OEM Materials
Northwest's Cool Sport™ Seat Covers are unique because they are made specifically for heated and ventilated seats, providing a cool seat cover that offers superior air circulation. They allow you to protect your seats with the highest quality OEM materials, while also allowing you to still heat and cool your seats. Some benefits include:
- A sporty 2-tone double knit jacquard fabric with a unique wave design that was inspired by a Chrysler OEM Fabric.
- Designed to promote superior air circulation which helps lower the temperature of your seats in hot weather.
- Offers some of the best performance for breathability for both heated and cooled seats.
Our Cool Sport™ seat covers material not only protects your seats, but also allows the heat from your factory seat heaters to rise-up through the fabric and provide the soothing comfort you're looking for. On the flip side, they are great as ventilated car seat cover for air conditioned seats. Our heated and cooled seat covers allow the fans in your seats to work without sacrificing performance.
This fabric has a soft feel, but is surprisingly durable, and with a minimum 100,000+ double rub test wear rating. It's the best cool car seat cover to protect your seats from all your daily drive activities.
CARE & CLEANING: COOL SPORT FABRIC
Polyester with laminated polyurethane (PU) foam and scrim backing
Machine wash with an HE liquid detergent in warm water and on gentle cycle. The textile manufacturers recommend hang drying or fluff drying.
Note: Do not tumble dry on any warm temperature settings because the higher temperatures will reduce the moisture of the open cell foam walls, causing them to collapse and turn to foam dust over time. This is true for any foam backed set of covers.
Our OE Series of fabrics are made of a polyester knit construction. The fabric is designed to resist staining, but if you want to add additional protection, treat your seat covers with Scotchgard before installing them. This is the same type of treatment your factory seats receive before picking up your new vehicle from the dealership.Fabric features
Northwest Seat Covers - Seat Style Guide
Leonardo DiVinci may have produced a hand drawing of his idea for a self-propelled vehicle in 1495 and Karl Benz may have first introduced the idea of a motorized “Tricycle” with a single bucket seat in 1886 but, it was Ransom Eli Olds who introduced the “Oldsmobile Curved Dash” in 1901 with its bench seat that got everything rolling.
All modern-day automotive seating can trace its origins back to the classic bucket style seat from Daimler -Benz and bench seat from that Oldsmobile in 1901.
Here’s a list of all the seat styles that are available in today’s vehicles:
Bucket Seats:
- High Back with Integrated Head Rests.
- Low Back with Adjustable Head Rests.
- May have 1 arm rest per seat.
- May have 2 arm rests per seat.
Solid Bench Seat:
- May have Fold-down Arm Rest.
- May have Integrated Head Rests (Camel Hump Style).
- May have Adjustable Head Rests.

HEADREST AND LATCH HOLES
In many models, headrest holes, power holes and/or latch holes are not cut. This is due to past trouble with properly aligning the covers once the holes were cut. In these cases, it was deemed better to cut the holes once the cover is properly aligned and installed.
To make these holes, simply install the cover, then cut a small "X" over the area where the hole needs to be. Then, in the case of a latch hole, lift the cover up and slide the latch through the hole.
This process ensures that the holes are placed in the correct spot every time!

Materials are well made and fit great. I only got and installed the covers a week ago so I can't really vouch for durability just yet.
