Ballistic™ seat covers are a great match for industry and law enforcement.
This is a rugged 1680 Denier polyester fabric that has a winning track record with heavier industry vehicles.
Law enforcement is particularly drawn to its ability to withstand wear during two 8 hour shifts, every day, all year long.
It features a Durable Water Repellant (DWR) top coat and a Polyurethane (PU) under coat. It also has the same laminated tricot backing that prevents color crocking.
This is a vividly striking fabric for seat covers in any vehicle.
Care & Cleaning: BALLISTIC POLYPRO FABRIC
Polyester 1600 denier with Polyurethane waterproof coatings
Machine wash with an HE liquid detergent in warm water on gentle cycle. Hang dry or low temperature tumble dry.
Note: Polyester is a man-made textile which is really easy to clean and care for.
Whether you call it a basket or oxford weave, it is still one of the most popular fabric constructions in the world. It may be basic but, it is both durable and pliable; just the type of fabric you want for custom seat covers. Polyester is very resistant to stains and fading but, bits of dirt do get caught in the corners of the woven fabric and that's what really needs cleaning.Fabric features
Northwest Seat Covers - Seat Style Guide
Leonardo DiVinci may have produced a hand drawing of his idea for a self-propelled vehicle in 1495 and Karl Benz may have first introduced the idea of a motorized “Tricycle” with a single bucket seat in 1886 but, it was Ransom Eli Olds who introduced the “Oldsmobile Curved Dash” in 1901 with its bench seat that got everything rolling.
All modern-day automotive seating can trace its origins back to the classic bucket style seat from Daimler -Benz and bench seat from that Oldsmobile in 1901.
Here’s a list of all the seat styles that are available in today’s vehicles:
Bucket Seats:
- High Back with Integrated Head Rests.
- Low Back with Adjustable Head Rests.
- May have 1 arm rest per seat.
- May have 2 arm rests per seat.
Solid Bench Seat:
- May have Fold-down Arm Rest.
- May have Integrated Head Rests (Camel Hump Style).
- May have Adjustable Head Rests.
40/20/40 Split:
- 40/20/40 Split Bench with Fold-down Arm Rest (1, 2 or 3 Cup Holders).

- 40/20/40 Split-Back Bench with Folding Arm Rest
- 40/20/40 Split-Back with Folding Arm Rest + 60/40 Split Cushion
60/40 Split:

HEADREST AND LATCH HOLES
In many models, headrest holes, power holes and/or latch holes are not cut. This is due to past trouble with properly aligning the covers once the holes were cut. In these cases, it was deemed better to cut the holes once the cover is properly aligned and installed.
To make these holes, simply install the cover, then cut a small "X" over the area where the hole needs to be. Then, in the case of a latch hole, lift the cover up and slide the latch through the hole.
This process ensures that the holes are placed in the correct spot every time!

Rear seat covers for 2019 Ford F-150 are amazing! Fit like a glove, including FULL coverage of the bottom of the seat, so everything is still protected when you have the seat flipped up! I am extremely pleased with the fit, coverage, appearance and ease of installation. Took time, but not difficult. Will be ordering other covers for more vehicles!

Have a new 2023 F150 crew cab and Buster, our big lab, loves jumping up on the rear seats, so we got a set of ballistic covers. They were a bit tight to install, but they look good installed.
